This Privacy Policy explains how Peace Rugs LLC (“Peace Rugs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you visit peacerugs.com, contact us by phone or in person, use our website chatbot (“RugBaba”), submit a custom rug design request, register for our Designer Trade Program, or otherwise interact with our business.

By using our website or services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use our website or services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three general ways: information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use our website, and information we receive from third parties.

Information You Provide Directly

Contact information such as your name, email address, phone number, and home or project address, when you request a custom design consultation, fill out a contact form, or sign up for our newsletter.
Custom project information, including room dimensions, style preferences, budget range, timeline, and any inspiration materials you share with us, such as photographs, fabric swatches, paint codes, or wallpaper samples.
Design and production files, including CAD renderings, color pom selections, and progress photos associated with your custom order.
Order and payment information, including deposit and balance payments processed through our payment processor (we do not store full credit card numbers on our own systems) and delivery/shipping address.
Messages and information you share when chatting with our RugBaba chatbot on our website or through Facebook/Instagram Messenger, including your name, contact information, room dimensions, budget range, and style preferences, where you choose to share them.
Interior designer and trade professional information, including firm name, phone, email, and resale tax ID, when you register for our Designer Trade Program.
Any information you voluntarily provide when corresponding with us by phone, email, or in person, including for customer service or guarantee-related purposes.

Information Collected Automatically

Device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and time spent on our site, collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
Analytics information collected through tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which help us understand how visitors use our website.
Advertising identifiers collected through tools such as the Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixels, used to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads on other websites and platforms.

Information from Third Parties

Information from our customer relationship management and marketing automation platform (Eazee.app, built on GoHighLevel), which we use to manage inquiries, design consultations, and communications.
Information from payment processors when you make a deposit or payment on a custom order.
Information from our advertising partners (Google, Meta) related to ad campaign performance, generally in aggregated or anonymized form.
Information shared with us by our affiliated company, Alyshaan Fine Rugs LLC, when your custom project involves an Alyshaan-provided service, such as viewing comparable in-stock inventory or a future cleaning or repair need (see Section 6, “Affiliated Companies”).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Respond to your custom design inquiries and provide consultations, CAD renderings, and strike-off sample coordination.
Manage your custom rug order from design approval through production, progress updates, and white-glove delivery.
Process deposits, balance payments, and arrange shipping or delivery.
Administer our Designer Trade Program, including verifying trade status and providing trade pricing and concierge support.
Send you marketing communications, promotions, and updates about our products and services, where you have opted in (see Section 5).
Improve our website, products, and services, including through analytics and customer feedback.
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, and other illegal activity.
Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, analyze site traffic, and support our advertising efforts. This includes analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics), functional cookies that support features like our chatbot, and advertising cookies (such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads remarketing tags) that help us show relevant ads and measure their effectiveness.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on our website, including design tools that rely on stored preferences.

5. SMS and Email Marketing Communications

If you provide your phone number or email address and opt in to receive marketing communications, we may send you promotional messages, project status updates, and marketing about our products and services by text message (SMS) and email.

Message and data rates may apply to SMS communications. Message frequency varies. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you may request help by replying HELP. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in every marketing email we send.

We reserve SMS communications for genuine project coordination and marketing you’ve opted into — we do not sell your phone number to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we will continue to send you SMS or email updates necessary to service an active custom order, such as CAD approval requests, production progress updates, and delivery scheduling.

6. Affiliated Companies

Peace Rugs LLC and Alyshaan Fine Rugs LLC are affiliated, family-operated businesses. Peace Rugs is the dedicated custom rug design brand backed by our mother company, Alyshaan, and certain services — including rug cleaning, repair, and viewing in-stock inventory — are provided through Alyshaan.

If your inquiry or order involves one of these specific Alyshaan-provided services, your relevant contact and request information may be shared between Peace Rugs LLC and Alyshaan Fine Rugs LLC solely to fulfill your request. Each company remains responsible for how it independently uses and protects your information consistent with its own privacy policy.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as our CRM/marketing platform (Eazee.app), payment processors, weaving centers and production partners involved in fulfilling your custom order, shipping and delivery partners, and website hosting providers.
Our affiliated company, Alyshaan Fine Rugs LLC, as described in Section 6.
Analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta), generally in aggregated or pseudonymized form for the purposes described in Section 2.
Professional advisors, such as our accountants or attorneys, where necessary.
Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or others.
A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to design, produce, and deliver your custom order, maintain the documentation and certificate of authenticity associated with your rug, maintain business and tax records, honor our guarantee, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or certain sharing of personal information (Peace Rugs does not sell personal information) and of targeted advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 14. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law. Please note that if you have an active custom order in production, certain project information (such as CAD files and approved specifications) may need to be retained through completion and delivery to fulfill that order. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time as described in Section 5, and control cookies through your browser as described in Section 4.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.
